Re-using Glass Jars to Make Healthy Drinks!

Step 1:  Take a glass jar that you might have gone ahead and recycled...and re-use it!  Wash it out and peel the label off.

Step 2: Get some chalkboard paint at your local hardware or art store.  Paint a chalkboard label.

Step 3:  Make a healthy drink!  I used filtered water (notice that I switched out the plastic jug that usually comes with Brita for a glass one I had), dried hibiscus flower from our local health food store, local honey and a local lemon.

Step 4:  After your chalkboard label has dried and your drink has been concocted...label your healthy, refreshing beverage and stick it in the fridge for the next time you crave a drink besides water!

  1. Love this idea - I already cleaned a couple of jars and am going to do some myself. I am going to put this idea on my blog too - don't worry I will credit you and link to your page.

  2. I have a ton of chalkboard paint too - another great idea along the same line is to paint planting pots with chalkboard paint, just like this and then label the pots with what's inside.
